Tyler Ledezma Memorial Classic
This tournament is dedicated to the memory of Tyler Ledezma. In July 2010, Tyler was killed in a single car accident due to not wearing his seatbelt. His family is honoring Tyler’s love for the game of baseball by holding an annual tournament. All proceeds will be given back to kids; scholarships will be set up in Tyler’s name. The efforts are aimed at creating awareness for the importance of wearing a seat belt. Each player will have a chance to win $100.00 scholarship toward next year’s player fee.
There is a three game guarantee per team. There will be a 1st place award and runner-up award given.

The Buckeye Elite will be holding the first annual Buckeye Memorial Challenge at Don Edwards’s baseball complex, located in Newark, Ohio, the former host of the Babe Ruth World Series. We expect the tournament field to be as competitive as the Buckeye Elite Showcase. Tournament play begins on the evening of Friday May 24th for central Ohio teams and runs through May 27th. The tournament will consist of two different age groups: 16 U15 teams and 16 U14 teams.
FOUR TEAM POOLS, EACH TEAM PLAYS EVERY TEAM IN THEIR POOL. All teams will advance to single elimination championship play. The top 2 teams in each pool will advance to the Gold division; next 2 teams in pool will advance to Silver division. The championship rounds will be single elimination.
The Gold Champions and runner ups will receive a team trophy and individual awards. The winner in both Gold divisions will receive free entry to the Buckeye Elite Showcase Tournament. This tournament will take place July 11th 14th 2013 in Columbus Ohio. The Buckeye Elite is one of the largest baseball tournaments in the country. Over 200 teams attend each year from over twelve states and Canada. The Silver division champions and runner ups will receive team trophies.

Welcome to the Buckeye Elite Tournament
July 11th – 14th, 2013 : COLUMBUS, OHIO

The 2013 event will be held though out Central Ohio starting July 11th to the 14th. The tournament will be limited to the first (96) – U18 teams, (64) – U16 teams, (50) – U15 teams and (24) – U14 teams. We’ve sold out early every year, so it’s best to apply as soon as possible. The tournament’s field will be one of the most competitive in the Midwest. In attendance will be teams from 15 states, as well as Canada. In addition to the highly competitive play, games will be held on 47 of central Ohio’s premier high school and college fields, making it one of the most prestigious baseball events in the Midwest.
This year’s tournament will be a 4 team pool play. Each team will play all teams in their pool. The top 2 teams will advance to Championship play, with the other teams, playing 1 consolation game. The Gold U-18 and U-16 Championship games will be played at Huntington Park, home of the AAA Cleveland Indians. The Gold U-15 and U-14 Championship games will be played at Bill Davis stadium, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes
The Gold Champions and runner-ups in each age group will receive a team trophy and individual awards. The Silver Champions and runner-ups will receive team trophies. Gold Champions and Runner-ups will have their picture placed on the tournament website with past Champions. All other teams not making it to the championship rounds will play a consolation game on Saturday.
