COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT A PERSONAL STADIUMROAR PAGE
|
|
|
1.) Why is a page 100% free? StadiumRoar is supported
by businesses within the sports and recreation community. Certain businesses take
care of paying for StadiumRoar’s costs. In exchange for supporting StadiumRoar,
these businesses get publicity on StadiumRoar. Occasionally, you will see a small
ad for a business. We are very serious about making sure these ads are not annoying;
you’ll never see any pop-up ads, animated ads, or large ads. In addition, whether
or not you want to click an ad is always up to you; we’ll never make you click an
ad in order to move to a new section on StadiumRoar.
|
2.) How long does it take to get a page? Enter
your email address on the homepage and click the green SIGN UP button. You’ll instantly
be taken inside StadiumRoar, where you customize your page (with your name, user
types, etc), and then get taken directly to your new page. The process takes less
than one minute.
|
3.) Is the information I provide, like my email and name,
kept secure? Yes. Any information you give us is kept secure. Your email
address will never be sold to spam email companies. StadiumRoar is supported by
public ads, which appear on the website for all to see. StadiumRoar is in no way
supported by the sale of your private information to any company. StadiumRoar asks
for your email address for two simple reasons: (1) you use it as your login ID to
access your page and (2) it allows the people you communicate with on StadiumRoar
to reply back to any emails you send them.

STADIUMROAR
PRIVACY POLICY
|
|
Introduction This document is the Privacy Policy
for the StadiumRoar website and the services it provides (collectively “StadiumRoar”).
|
Policy Access The privacy policy can be accessed
in the footer of StadiumRoar on the home page and all other pages by clicking a
PRIVACY link.
|
Parent Consent During the registration process,
the first question a new user is asked concerns age. The user must verify that he
or she is at least 13 years old, or is less than 13 years old and accompanied by
a parent or guardian. If the user selects that he or she is less than 13 years old,
and not accompanied by a parent or guardian, StadiumRoar does not allow the user
to continue and become a member.
|
Third Party Disclosure of Information All third-party
disclosure issues are brought up in the Terms and Conditions, which any new user
must read and agree to at the end of the registration process, before becoming a
StadiumRoar member. For users less than 13 years old, they must be accompanied by
a parent or guardian during this process. The parent or guardian can read this information
with them and choose to continue or not.
|
Parent Access to Account Users provide an account
password during the registration process. Thus, for users less than 13 years old,
parents oversee the password given to the account. Thus, at any time, a parent can
log into the child’s account and view or delete any personal information.
|
Restricting Future Collection of Information A
parent can restrict a child from logging into the child’s account by changing the
password. Since a parent has full access to the account of his or her child, a parent
can change the account password by going into My User Info and changing the password.
If a parent does not tell his or her child the new password, the child will not
be able to log into the account at any time in the future.
|
Reasonable Information The only personal information
required of any user is first name, last name, home town, home state, gender and
date of birth. No information any more personal than this basic information is ever
required to participate in any activity offered on StadiumRoar.
|
Integrity of Information Information collected
from children, and all other users of StadiumRoar, is kept confidential and secure.
